abarrus College offers the ASSET and institutional ACT for prospective students needing standardized test scores to satisfy admissions requirements.

The ASSET can be used for admission to the medical assistant, occupational therapy assistant, surgical technology and associate in science programs. Specific score requirements can be found on each programs web page, brochure or in the catalog.

The cost to take the ASSET is $25. It is offered from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. on the following dates during the 2008-09 academic year:

• July 10, 2008
• August 14, 2008
• October 23, 2008
• January 14, 2009
• March 3, 2009
• May 13, 2009
• June 9, 2009
• August 11, 2009

The Institutional ACT can be used for admission to any program offered by Cabarrus College, including the associate degree in nursing. The score results are only valid at Cabarrus College and can not be used for admission to another institution.

The cost to take the Institutional ACT is $40. It is offered from 1 :00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. on the following dates during the 2007-08 academic year:
