I - Training Program
The Nurse Aide I Training Program is designed to provide the entry-level nurse aide student with the fundamental nursing skills
essential for providing patient care services under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse. Upon satisfactory completion,
participants are prepared to take the state approved written examination and demonstration of competency skills to be placed on the
North Carolina Nurse Aide I Registry.
Healthcare Provider CPR training is included. |

Medication Aide Training Program
This class will prepare the participant to meet the requirements of the Medication Aide Act and to assume the role and responsibilities of a Medication Aide. After successful completion of the class, students will be prepared to sit for the State Medication Aide Competency exam.

Nurse Aide I Review Class
This class is open to any one who has been listed on a state NAI registry, has completed a state-approved NAI class, is a certified EMT, a certified Medical Assistant, or can provide a letter of recommendation from an RN who has supervised the student.

Healthcare Provider CPR/AED
The curriculum for this program utilizes the recommended content areas from the American Heart Association (AHA). This course is for professional healthcare and rescuer personnel who must have a credential (card) documenting successful completion of a CPR course.
