o ensure availability of faculty for guidance and general academic assistance for all students, an academic advisor is assigned to each student. The academic advisor confers with the student according to the following schedule:

• First year - weekly for the first four weeks of enrollment, then at least once every four weeks.
  
  
• Thereafter - at least once every four weeks.

All teaching faculty post available office times each week for consultation with students. Part-time faculty post hours of availability before and after class/clinical. As the situation indicates or need arises, students or faculty may schedule conferences in addition to the prescribed schedule. Students who are identified by the faculty as having records that indicate actual or potential barriers to learning are recommended for inclusion in the Student Development Program.
