You may think you can’t afford a small, private, specialty college like Cabarrus College, but you can! Cabarrus College is the least expensive private college in NC, and we offer a generous array of scholarships to make college affordable and accessible to every student who wants to attend.

Students must be a US citizen or eligible non-citizen for all scholarships, awards and tuition discounts, with the exception of the Atrium Health Forgivable Loan.

*All scholarships are stackable (can be combined with other scholarships but cannot exceed the cost of attendance).

How to apply for scholarships

Step 1

To apply for all scholarships (need- and merit-based), complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at studentaid.gov as soon as possible after October 1 of the year before you wish to enroll. Be sure to list our Cabarrus College school code 015358 under the school selection.

Step 2

If you are from NC, verify your residency at NCresidency.org to be considered for very generous state scholarships for NC students with demonstrated need. Our financial aid team will contact you and help you from there.
