About Me
Matthew Angerson joined Cabarrus College of Health Sciences in June, 2026. He is the Director of Admission and Recruitment at both Cabarrus and Carolinas College of Health Sciences.
Originally from New Jersey, Matthew grew up in Charlotte and graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2019 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Sciences. He then earned his Master of Arts in College Student Personnel from Bowling Green State University. He has experience working in admissions at the community college, graduate school, and healthcare specific colleges. His passion for student success and beginning their educational journeys drives his student-focused mindset.
In his spare time, Matthew enjoys taking his dog to the park with his wife, reading, playing sports, and cheering on the Yankees, Knicks, and Tar Heels.
