About Me
Mrs. Dunn began her healthcare career at age seventeen as a nurse aid, where she felt called to become a registered nurse. She earned her Associate Degree in Nursing from Cabarrus College of Health Sciences in 2023 and later completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Capella University.
She began working as a nurse in a medical–surgical intensive care unit, caring for high-acuity patients and precepting nursing students.
She is currently pursuing critical care certification and a Master of Science in Nursing at Gardner-Webb University, specializing in nursing education.
Beyond her clinical and academic roles, Mrs. Dunn serves as a youth pastor and worship leader at Grace Covenant Church in Kannapolis. She enjoys tennis, journaling, and time with her family. She is married to her high school sweetheart, and they have a son, Brooks, and a golden retriever.
