About Me
Mr. Faw earned a Bachelor of Science degree with a concentration in Biology from Appalachian State University. He received his Masters of Education: Science Specialist Track from UNC-Charlotte. Mr. Faw also holds a graduate certificate in Information Technology Management from UNCC.
His teaching experience includes 23 years in the North Carolina public school system where he taught chemistry and physics in addition to coaching football and baseball. Mr. Faw was one of the first PC computer applications instructors at Rowan Cabarrus Community College and during the summers he has been involved in nuclear research for the Department of Energy as a Faculty Research Associate located at the Idaho National Engineering Laboratory in Idaho Falls.
In 1997, Mr. Faw came to Cabarrus College as an instructor of Technology. He enjoys volunteering in community events and promoting Cabarrus College at those events.
