About Me
Mikahla joined Cabarrus College in August 2023 as the Early College Liaison for the Cabarrus Health Science Institute. As a first-generation college student, she graduated from Wingate University in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science in Human Services and the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 2021 with a Master of Education in Higher Education. As a young professional, Mikahla inspires to give back to college students, challenge them to grow in their own self-awareness and help students find their purpose in their collegiate experience and beyond.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her fiancé, Floyd, and two goldendoodles, Marley and Mia. Both Mikahla and Floyd love trying out new brunch spots, traveling the world on cruise ships and going to Charlotte FC and Carolina Panther games.
