About Me
Ms. Hassanpour earned a Master of Science in Microbiology and a Bachelor in Biological Sciences from the University of Ahwaz in Iran.
She has been living in the U.S. since 1986 and began teaching at Cabarrus College in 2001. She was awarded the Cabarrus College of Health Sciences 2009 Educational Excellence Award. Her extensive background in research includes toxicological studies of liver at Medical University of South Carolina - Charleston, cell biology and genetics at Emory University and DNA studies at Applied Genetics Laboratories.
She loves to watch and play soccer and also enjoys running.
