About Me
Ms. McElroy is a native of Alabama where she received both Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing degrees from Troy University. She is also Board Certified as a Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She has several years of nursing experience. Her clinical experience includes Medical-Surgical, ICU, Pre/Post-operative care, and PACU nursing. She also worked numerous years as a travel nurse.
Since relocating to Charlotte, she has poured herself into teaching as a clinical educator. She is excited and passionate about educating the next generation of nurses.
In her spare time, Ms. McElroy enjoys reading and writing. As a student of life and a lover of travel, she feels the most joy when she can immerse herself in the food, culture, and traditions of different regions domestically and internationally.
