About Me
Ms. McCowan graduated with an Associate Degree in Science Radiography from Rowan Cabarrus Community College in 1999, received her baccalaureate of Science in Medical Imaging from Florida Hospital College of Health Sciences in 2006, and completed her Master of Healthcare Administration from Pfeiffer University in 2014. She is registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in radiography. Ms. McCowan is the Program Director of Radiography at Rowan Cabarrus Community College (RCCC), advisor for the RCCC Radiography club, a site visitor for the Joint Review Commission of Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT), a member of the American Society of Radiologic Technologists, member of the North Carolina Society of Radiologic Technologists, pledged member of Image Wisely and a prn technologist at Randolph Health where she has been employed for the last 15 years. In 2017, Ms. McCowan joined Cabarrus College as a part time instructor for the BSMI program and is excited to be a part of the team.
