About Me
Ms. McCowan graduated with an associate degree in applied science Radiography from Rowan Cabarrus Community College, received her baccalaureate of Science in Medical Imaging from Florida Hospital College of Health Sciences, and completed her Master of Healthcare Administration from Pfeiffer University. She is registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in radiography. Ms. McCowan is the Program Director of Radiography at Rowan Cabarrus Community College (RCCC), advisor for the RCCC Radiography club, a site visitor team chair for the Joint Review Committee of Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT), a member of the American Society of Radiologic Technologists, member of the North Carolina Society of Radiologic Technologists, pledged member of Image Wisely. She has over 20 years of clinical and education experience in Radiography. In 2017, Ms. McCowan joined Cabarrus College as a part time instructor for the BSMI program and is excited to be a part of the team.
