Mary Anne Miller, MSN, RN

About Me

Mrs. Miller is originally from Savannah Ga. She earned a junior college diploma from Brevard College and a BA from Belmont Abbey. While raising a family she went back to school. She received an ADN from Cabarrus College of Health Sciences and BSN from Winston-Salem State University. Several years later she received her MSN from The University of North Carolina at Charlotte.

She has a diverse background in nursing to include Med/Surg ICU, CVRU, CCICU, cardiac rehab, PACU, pre-op, hospice, inpatient and outpatient palliative care, Heart Failure Nurse Navigator and Faith Community Nurse. She birthed the Your Care, Your Choice department within Atrium and, in 2005, helped the start-up of the inpatient palliative care team, with two RN’s, at what is now Atrium Health Cabarrus. End of Life and having essential paperwork in place is her passion.

Mrs. Miller has three grown married sons and is expecting her 9^th grandchild soon. She recently celebrated her 41^st wedding anniversary with husband Ray. She enjoys reading, playing the piano and is active in both her church choir and in Bible Study Fellowship.
