About Me
Ms. Mullens has practiced in the clinical and academic community for over 30 years. She graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Bluefield State University in West Virginia and with her Master of Science in Nursing from Radford University in Virginia. In the spring of 2009, she attained the designation of Certified Nurse Educator (CNE) as awarded by the National League of Nursing.
Ms. Mullens has received several awards honoring her teaching and leadership including the Cabarrus College Educational Excellence Award and the Honor Society in Nursing Cathryn M. Bratton Memorial Leadership Award. She has been a member of the nursing faculty since 2001 and serves on several college committees.
She enjoys reading and spending time with her family and friends.
