About Me
Ms. Payne is a graduate of East Carolina University with a Master of Arts in Adult Education with a certificate in Adult Healthcare Education. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in the Health Services Leadership and Management and her Associate of Science in Surgical Technology (ST) degree from Cabarrus College, summa cum laude. Since graduation she has been using her knowledge and education in many settings such as the local hospitals and educational opportunities with Cabarrus College and higher education. Seeking to share her passion for Surgical Technology, she embraces each opportunity to encourage students to grow and prosper in their healthcare profession. She has current certification in surgical technology by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting. Ms. Gay also is a Board of Director for the Association of Surgical Technologist.
Ms. Payne loves spending her extra time with her family and friends, participating in event planning, reading, and enjoying outdoor activities.
