About Me
Kassi Raffaldt, CMA(AAMA) joined the Medical Assistant Program in January 2023 as an adjunct faculty member, having also previously served in a full-time faculty position. Ms. Raffaldt returned as full-time faculty August 2024. She earned an Associate of Science degree in Medical Assisting from Cabarrus College of Health Sciences. Ms. Raffaldt plans to continue her education to the baccalaureate level in the coming years. Prior to working at the College, she worked at the Dermatology Group of the Carolinas as an MMS Assistant assisting with MOHS surgeries. Before that, she also worked as a Clinical Assistant II in a fast-paced internal medicine office in Concord. While she has loved the clinical aspect of the profession, she has a strong passion for helping develop future Medical Assistants. In her free time, she enjoys being with her two sons, being at the beach, and spending time with family and friends.
