About Me

Mrs. Rippy graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2001. She began her nursing career on a medical-oncology floor at Atrium University hospital. Loving oncology, she later transitioned to an outpatient medical oncologist clinic supporting patients for much of her career. She obtained her Master of Science in Nursing from East Carolina University in 2018. She is both an Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) and a Nursing Professional Development Specialist (NPD-BC). In her most recent nursing role, she served as a Clinical RN Program coordinator with Levine Cancer focusing on nursing education, professional development, informatics, and quality practice initiatives.  

In her free time, she enjoys reading, baking with sourdough, and boating. She is a native Charlottean, meeting her husband in elementary school. She has two children, two golden retrievers and one golden cat.
