About Me
Ms. Rogers received her ADN from Carolinas College of Health Sciences in 2000 and her MSN from Gardner-Webb University in 2013. She also holds a BS in Communication Studies from Wingate University, and worked in the private sector prior to attending nursing school. Ms. Rogers enjoyed 14 years as a Neonatal Intensive Care nurse at Levine Children’s Hospital where she served as a staff preceptor, family educator, and CPR/NRP instructor.
Ms. Rogers joined the faculty of Cabarrus College in 2014, and she teaches Maternal/Newborn and Pediatric nursing. She has a passion for nursing education, and she enjoys mentoring students and watching them celebrate their successes in the classroom and in the clinical setting.
In her spare time, Ms. Rogers enjoys spending time with her husband, children, and granddaughter, traveling, and reading.
