About Me
Patricia Rich joined Cabarrus College of Health Sciences in 2023 as Faculty Clinical Instructor in the ADN program. Currently, she is working with the BSN program as a lab instructor for both the TBSN and ABSN programs.
Patricia brings 32 years of bedside nursing at a level 1 trauma center. During her career, as a Registered Nurse, she has worked in a Burn Center, Surgical/Trauma Intensive Care Unit, and Psychiatry. She has had leadership positions in Quality Control and as a House Supervisor. Patricia has 7 years of teaching experience, in nursing education, including clinical and didactic.
Originally from Minneapolis, Minnesota, she got her Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from North Hennepin College. After moving to North Carolina, she obtained her Bachelor of Nursing from East Carolina University, and a Master of Nursing Education from Western Governors University.
Patricia enjoys traveling, being on the lake and doing community service projects. She currently lives in Lexington with her husband and Lucy, a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.
