About Me
Cierra Short serves as a Success Coach at Cabarrus College of Health Sciences, where she is dedicated to supporting students in achieving their academic, personal, and professional goals. She brings experience in fostering student success, confidence, and supporting students along their college journey. Prior to joining Cabarrus College, Cierra worked in higher education and K-12 settings, providing individualized support to diverse student populations, including first-year students, student-athletes, and international students. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and a Master of Arts in Teaching from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
Originally from Columbus Ohio, she enjoys spending time with her family, playing with her dog, and cheering her brother on at his football games. She also has a strong interest in hair which reflects her creativity and appreciation for helping others feel their best.
