About Me
Ms. Springs joined Cabarrus College of Health Sciences as Secretary III with the Office of Admissions/Enrollment Management in July 2013. In October 2016, she transitioned into her new role as Associate Registrar. Gigi received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Queens University of Charlotte while working full-time and managing as a part-time student at the university. Gigi was employed with Queens University for over seventeen years where she gained a wealth of knowledge in higher education as she worked for the Undergraduate and Graduate Adult Evening division. Her background has been in the areas of Coordinator of Student Services including Registration and Admissions. During those years Gigi set the scale high in customer service, confidentiality, trustworthy and loyalty.
Gigi is a native of Charlotte and has a passion in caring for the elderly and the welfare of all people in general. One of Gigi’s favorite quotes is: “I’ve learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel” by the late Maya Angelou. In her spare time Gigi enjoys traveling (love airplanes), cooking and spending time with her family and friends.
