About Me
Dr. Kathleen Subasic holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Saint Francis University, a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Towson University, and a PhD in Occupational Therapy from Nova Southeastern University. With over 25 years of experience, she has worked in a wide range of clinical settings, including skilled nursing facilities, inpatient rehabilitation, acute care, outpatient day-treatment, home health, and community practice. Her expertise focuses on adults and older adults, especially those with neurological conditions. Additionally, she founded a company that specializes in home assessment and modification services.
Dr. Subasic has a strong background in teaching, as current faculty at Cabarrus College of Health Sciences, and having served at Wingate University, Towson University, Shenandoah University, and Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions. She is a frequent presenter at national and state conferences, where she speaks on topics such as home assessment and modification, as well as simulation in occupational therapy assistant education. Dr. Subasic also contributes her clinical and academic knowledge as a board member of Rebuilding Together of Greater Charlotte.
In her free time, Dr. Subasic enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, walking her dogs, hiking, reading, and relaxing on the lake.
