About Me
Logan Freeman Smith is an Instructional Coach at Cabarrus College of Health Sciences, where she partners with faculty and academic leaders to design, develop, and continuously improve engaging learning experiences across modalities. Before joining Cabarrus College of Health Sciences, she spent four years at Central Piedmont Community College supporting faculty, curriculum, and academic operations, building on seven years of experience as a secondary social studies educator. She is passionate about helping faculty create accessible, learner-centered educational experiences through instructional design, educational technology, and evidence-based teaching practices.
Logan earned her bachelor’s degree from UNC Charlotte and her master’s degree in Higher Education Administration from Louisiana State University, where she also completed a Learning Experience Design certificate. She is currently pursuing an Ed.D. in Organizational Leadership. Outside of her professional role, Logan serves as a public policy advocate for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, supports Safe Alliance of Charlotte, and mentors and coaches young women through the Miss America Opportunity.
